What We Do
Alzheimer Calgary is a local non-profit organization. We support people impacted by dementia in our community to feel valued and empowered so they can live life well. At Alzheimer Calgary, people can find education, care, and support when they need it most, all thanks to the generosity of people like you.

Education for the community
The effects of dementia can pose a range of challenges including new behaviors and adapting to a new style of communication. Your support means Alzheimer Calgary can provide education sessions to help caregivers, families, and community members build their own capacity and resilience to care for people with dementia.
Support services
People often reach out either in response to an overwhelming diagnosis, or to help manage the emotional impacts of caregiving. Thanks to the generosity of our community, caregivers can get compassionate support through our confidential telephone support service, online resources, and awareness-building initiatives.
Adult Day Program
Our adult day program, known as Club 36, provides a safe, homelike environment where people living with dementia can participate in social activities. These activities help encourage autonomy, self-esteem, dignity, and respect while providing respite for caregivers.
As a community, we continue to face unprecedented growth in the need for dementia-specific services and support. Your support means we can continue to provide education, care and support for Calgary families.
