Thank You for Joining Me on This Journey!

The last 5 years we have watched my mom decline since the diagnosis of Dementia.  My mom went from a super positive firecracker that was the life of any kind of party.  She loved people.  She loved hearing their stories and was fascinated by her grandkids.  Transforming into a shell of what used to be.

It is hard to sit by as you watch someone you idolize turn into someone who does not know who I am.  I was so close to my mom and would talk multiple times a day.  We could talk for hours about a rock.  Although she is still here, she is not.  The long goodbye is a thing.  I am hoping create awareness and support with my story and hoping there will one day be a cure.
