Welcome to My 3rd Year Fundraising Page: Taking Strides for a Cure!
Thank you so much for visiting my page and supporting me as I lace up my sneakers for the Alzheimer Calgary Walk & Run this October! This year marks my third year participating in this incredible event, and I am more motivated than ever to make a meaningful difference for local families affected by dementia.

Looking back, my journey started two years ago when I walked the 5km route for the very first time alongside my Mom and Grandma. Thanks to the overwhelming generosity of people like you, I completely smashed my original rookie goal and was incredibly honored to be named the Top Youth Fundraiser. That unforgettable experience showed me the true power of community, and it inspired me to keep pushing forward.

For my third annual walk, I am setting my sights on a new fundraising goal of $1,250. To hit this milestone, I have been working hard on four different fundraising projects this year. First, I kicked things off at my birthday party by asking my awesome friends to donate $5 each instead of bringing traditional gifts. Next, my family and I hosted a neighbourhood yard sale. I have also been busy collecting and recycling bottles. Finally, you can find me out in the community playing my accordion at the local farmers' market, where I am performing live and collecting donations. Every single dollar from these efforts goes straight into our fundraising total.

This mission is deeply personal to me. My ultimate dream in life is to become a research scientist and find a permanent cure for dementia. The urgency grows every single day—by 2030, nearly 1 million people across Canada will be living with this condition. We need to fund care and research now to change that future.

Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your amazing support over the last three years!
