Your support at the Alzheimer Calgary Walk & Run means the world to me! Together, we’re not just walking or running - we’re making a real difference for local families impacted by dementia.

I am honouring my amazing Mom, Laura, who was affected by fronto-temporal dementia. She was my best friend, cheerleader, and mentor.  Laura travelled the world, knew 4 languages, played the piano and classical guitar, designed children's clothes, and splashed every corner of the world around her with her beautiful artwork.  She taught me how to live life well. 

The support offered to us from the Alzheimer's society helped us to navigate an incredibly painful journey, know that we aren't alone, and gave us practical help and solutions.
