Your support at the Alzheimer Calgary Walk & Run means the world to me! This is my first year joining this walk/run but I have had many years learning and seeing first hand what this illness can do to a family member. My dad was diagnosed with early onset Alzheimer’s over 10 years ago now. He was a very active guy before this disease took over, taking karate lessons, always finding hikes for us to do together. So this one’s for you, Dad!
