As a Dementia Support Navigator with Alzheimer Calgary, I have the privilege of supporting individuals as they navigate dementia. Every day, I witness the strength of those living with dementia and the tireless dedication of their caregivers. I also see firsthand the impact our organization has, providing guidance, education, and compassion when it’s needed most. That’s why I’m participating in the Alzheimer Calgary Walk Run. It’s more than just an event; it’s showing up for the community I serve, to raise awareness, and to ensure that the supports provided by Alzheimer Calgary continue to be available.
