Why I?m Running

This cause is deeply personal to me. 

Last year, my mother-in-law passed away after a long and difficult battle with dementia. My mom was diagnosed with early-onset dementia at just 58 years old ? a journey she continues to face with courage every day.

That?s why I?m participating in the Alzheimer Calgary Walk & Run. I?m running to honor my mother-in-law?s memory, to stand alongside my mom, and to support every family who is navigating the reality of dementia.
