Kill them with kindness was the saying my grandpa lived by. He was a man who was generous, humble, and genuinely kind. Watching him succomb to Alzheimer's disease was heartbreaking and I often think about who he was and what he valued before he became lost. This is our 4th year running the Alzheimer's run in his name as a family. Our Thanksgiving would not be complete without celebrating who he is and we as a family look forward to earning our turkey dinner and grateful to be a part of such an incredible community. I am running for him because he can't and for all those with Alzheimer's disease needing a little extra help.
