As always, I am running in memory of my mom, Joan Elliott, and for the countless people that have lost their lives to this disease. Mom was diagnosed in her 50's with early onset Alzheimer's Disease. She was kind, thoughtful, tough, giving, supportive, funny and a true friend. She taught me to never give up and to always give it your all. So that’s what I continue to do.
